Prof. Jijian Xu has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Materials Today Rising Star Award and invited to deliver a keynote talk at the Materials Today Conference 2025 in Sitges, Spain. This award, presented by the Materials Today family of journals, recognizes early-career researchers in materials science and engineering who have demonstrated outstanding potential to make transformative contributions to the field.
课题组组长徐吉健荣获2024年Materials Today学术新星奖（Materials Today Rising Star Award），并受邀在Materials Today Conference 2025发表主题演讲。该奖项旨在表彰材料科学与工程领域处于职业生涯早期的杰出研究者。自2018年由Materials Today期刊家族发起以来，该奖项授予那些展现出卓越潜力、能够产生实际影响并有望成为材料科学与工程领域未来领军人物的青年学者。
Representing the LETS group, PhD student Hao Zhang actively participated in the conference. In addition to presenting the group’s latest research through a poster session, he also delivered an invited talk on behalf of Prof. Xu, titled “Designing Electrolytes for High-Energy Lithium-Ion Batteries under Extreme Conditions.” His presentation highlighted recent advances from the group in developing electrolyte systems that enable safe, stable operation under high-voltage and extreme environments. The LETS group remains committed to advancing the frontiers of battery research through innovation in electrolyte design and interdisciplinary collaboration.
