The 22nd International Meeting on Lithium Batteries (IMLB 2024) was successfully held from June 17-21, 2024, at the Asia International Expo in Hong Kong.
This conference aimed to reduce global carbon emissions and promote the development of lithium batteries. It attracted around 1,500 experts, researchers, and company representatives involved in the lithium battery field. Our team actively participated as both volunteers and delegates.

IMLB 2024 provided an exciting forum to discuss the latest advancements in lithium batteries. The conference featured 80 renowned speakers who covered a wide array of topics, including fundamental and applied research findings in lithium batteries. These topics encompassed the development of new anode and cathode materials, and next-generation battery systems beyond Li-ion, such as Zinc-ion, lithium-sulfur, and lithium metal batteries.
2019 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Akira Yoshino, one of the inventors of the lithium-ion battery, also shared his latest research findings.
This conference not only facilitated scientific exchange but also provided industry professionals with valuable collaborative opportunities.
We extend our congratulations on the successful meeting. Attending IMLB 2024 deepened our understanding of the latest advancements in lithium battery technology and inspired our future research.
We look forward to the 23rd International Meeting on Lithium Battery, scheduled to be held in Montreal, Canada, in 2026.
