On October 25, 2024, Prof. Jijian Xu from the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) was recognized with the prestigious 6th CCS “Elites Youth” Award for his outstanding research in high-energy batteries, wide-temperature electrolyte, and interphase regulation. Academicians Li Yuliang and Ma Yuguang presented the award certificate at the 9th Elite Chemistry Forum, held on October 24-26. Five scholars nationwide received this honor.
2024年10月25日，香港城市大学独立PI徐吉健荣获第六届中国化学会“菁青化学新锐奖”，奖励其在高比能电池、宽温域电解液、界面调控等方面取得的突出研究成果。并于10月24-26日举办的中国化学会第九届菁青论坛上由李玉良院士、马於光院士颁发获奖证书，全国共有5位学者获得该奖。

About CCS “Elites Youth” Award
The Chinese Chemical Society, with more than 120,000 individual members, is the largest and highest-level academic organization in the field of chemistry in China. The award is open to young chemists aged 35 and under who demonstrate the ability to conduct independent scientific research. Eligible candidates should possess original research ideas and directions, along with a track record of high-level scientific achievements. Selections are made annually, with a maximum of five recipients.
